Stan Tashman

Stan founded the company in January 1961, beginning with a sales agreement from Oxwall Tool Company as his first line, representing them in California, Arizona, and Nevada.

From these humble beginnings, he steadily grew the company’s client base across the hardware, automotive, seasonal, paint, and housewares industries. For the first 10 years, Stan built the business entirely on his own. Over the decades, he earned the respect of customers, manufacturers, and people throughout the industry for his integrity, hard work, and commitment to excellence.

Stan served as CEO until his retirement in 1999 but remained actively involved as Chairman, offering guidance and sharing his industry expertise. He passed away in 2019 at the age of 88. Above all, Stan cherished time with his family and had a lifelong passion for travel, sports, and staying active.

Meet Our Team

Rich Tashman

President | Chief Executive Officer

Rich joined Stan Tashman & Associates in 1981 after earning his Finance degree from San Diego State University and has dedicated his entire career to the firm. Since 1999, he has led the organization as President and Chief Executive Officer, providing vision, strategic direction, and sales leadership.

Rich finds the greatest reward in helping manufacturers grow their business, with a firm belief that success must be a win-win for all parties involved. Outside of work, Rich enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and participating in various sports. He is also an active member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization) and has served on its executive board since 2001.

Ty Olson

Executive Vice President

With over 35 years of industry experience, Ty joined Stan Tashman & Associates in 2000 and became an equity partner in 2002. As Executive Vice President, Ty oversees the business for several of the firm’s manufacturer clients across major U.S. national accounts. He is highly respected by both colleagues and customers for his leadership, knowledge and dedication.

Outside of work, Ty enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and playing competitive pickleball.

Chris Conley

Director of Merchandising

Chris brings over 30 years of experience in the retail home center industry, having held roles as a store manager, district manager, and buyer across multiple product categories. Since joining Stan Tashman & Associates in 2004, he has been a valued leader within the organization. In his current position as Director of Merchandising, Chris oversees the daily operations of our field set and service teams. Outside of work, he enjoys mountain biking, kayaking, and snowboarding, spending most weekends adventuring throughout the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Vicki Tashman

Payments & Receivables Manager

Vicki has spent her entire career in the accounting field and has served as the company’s bookkeeper since 1995. After her breast cancer diagnosis in 2004, she founded Pink-Link, a nonprofit dedicated to providing support services for breast cancer survivors. In addition to her advocacy work, Vicki has authored two children’s books. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending time with family and friends.

Jonathan Coppel

National Sales Manager | Key Accounts

Jonathan brings his 6 years of experience in food procurement and distribution to help manufacturers grow their brands at retail. Prior to joining STA, Jonathan spent two years at US Foods leading the Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland produce program. Beyond his work in distribution, he worked in procurement for several large grocery chains, gaining an understanding of our food system and emerging food trends. Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, cooking, and spontaneous adventures.

Kaitlin Olson

National Sales Manager | Key Accounts

In Kaitlin's 7 years as Regional Sales Manager at Stan Tashman & Associates, her concentration is on the food side of the business, working with the team to bring on high-potential brands to Costco and clubs alike. Kaitlin works hands on with our partners to help ensure success within the club channel. Previously, Kaitlin worked on the marketing team at Anheuser-Busch, helping grow and activate some of the world’s most recognizable beverage brands across Southern California. In her free time she enjoys being creative in the kitchen, hosting dinner parties, and staying active.

Gina Cordoba

Payroll Administrator

With over 10 years of hands-on experience as a payroll administrator, Gina oversees all aspects of the company’s bi-weekly payroll, managing deductions for taxes, benefits, and other tax withholding such as garnishment. Supports EDD, Insurance, and payroll audits. Also, contributes to various HR and benefits-related initiatives.

Acquired Boren Merchandising Company for Home Depot based in the Northwest.

Were awarded a Contract from Home Depot to become one of their in-house Store Service Merchandising Companies for Dept 23 Flooring & Home Decor. This increased our employee count from 180-375 employees in 15 western states.

Were awarded our second Contract for Merchandising in Dept 30 Millwork/Windows & Doors. This added another 100 employees.
